inca jungle - 4 days | 3 nights

Day 01: Downhill biking and River Rafting. (Cusco-Santa Maria)

The beginning of our adventure is at 6am at the hotel, to continue by bus towards the Sacred Valley, after a stop for breakfast we will continue until we reach the pass of Abra Málaga, which is at 4316 meters above sea level, from where we begin the down hill in bicycles the route offers unique views of the transition from the Andes to the high jungle, you will have the opportunity to enjoy amazing landscapes, cross streams, you will feel the maximum speed and adrenaline to finish in Huamán Marca, which is at 1800 meters above sea level. We will continue by bus to Santa María where we will have our lunch. After lunch we will be ready for the adventure in the Urubamba River, the boats and specialized guides await us ready for rafting of a maximum level of class 3+, a fun level for experts and beginners. After the activity we return to Santa María where we will spend the night.

Day 02: Hike in the high jungle, Inca trail, Cocalmayo hot springs (Santa María- Santa Teresa)

After breakfast we get ready for the tour of the high jungle where we will have the opportunity to learn about the flora of the place, both native and exotic, such as the Coca leaf, Cocoa, Achiote, Avocado, Coffee, etc. most of these plantations will be explained by the leading guide of the group. The first part of the walk is easy until minutes before reaching the Inca trail, the remains of the road network that led to Vilcabamba, the last refuge of the Incas. Enjoying the landscape and history in the small section is amazing. For lunch we will descend to quellomayo, a village in the middle of the canyon. The tour follows the course against the Vilcanota River which allows us to enjoy the flow and the rock formations due to the erosion of the river and to cross more than once over bridges that are very fun, and we will end our day with a well-deserved swim in one of the the best thermal medicinal waters of Peru known as Cocalmayo.

Day 03 : Zip line and walk. (Saint Teresa-Aguas Calientes)

In the morning, an adrenaline-filled sport awaits us known as Zip line, fox line, Tyrolese or Canopy, an activity that consists of jumping on cables anchored from one mountain to another using pulleys and harnesses. You will have the opportunity to reach a speed of more than 60 kilometers per hour at a height that exceeds 150 meters with a distance greater than 500 meters. After this activity we will have our lunch. The last part of the journey is next to the railway line and inside the archaeological park of Machu Picchu, already seeing the majestic sanctuary from afar, enjoying the vegetation and the most spectacular landscapes until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night.

We usually wake up very early as 4am to walk very early the last part, are very hard steps as the last challenge and arrive properly to Machu Picchu at 6am as we begin to enter the sanctuary and receive the magnificent sunrise,  is one of the unforgettable moments for each traveler have once to stay in Machu Picchu. then our tour guide show as the most important places in side of Machu Picchu and the explanation. the end of our tour the rest of the day is free you can enjoy and explore the rest of machu picchu. in the afternoon come back to aguas calientes and take the train to ollantaytambo and then by bus to cusco.
